‘American Idol’: WOFL to send one hopeful to San Francisco auditions

“American Idol” didn’t come to Orlando for auditions this year. But Fox-owned WOFL-Ch. 35 will send one hopeful to the San Francisco auditions. The process starts Saturday, Aug. 7, at Ford of Clermont, 1101 E. Highway 50 in Clermont. The auditions run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day.
